If you have less than 20 employees it may be worth looking at using Wave Accounting (free) for your bookkeeping and using Keypay for your online payroll and Single Touch Payroll (ATO) obligations. As at 22 January 2019 the pricing for Keypay is $4 per active (being paid) employee per month.
If more than 20 employees it is worthwhile to look at an integrated payroll and accounting package such as Xero.
